  1. CLIPBOARD VIEWER

  3. Can be activated in three ways:
  4. -bring up the CopyPaste Palette, then click on any clip in the content area to see the Clipboard Viewer:
  5. -use the mouse to pull the Cut, Copy or Paste submenus in the "Edit" menu down to "Clipboard Viewer ...":
  6. -if the CopyPaste Utilities Menu is activated in the preferences, you will find the "Clipboard Viewer ..." command in the CopyPaste Utilities submenu.

When the Palette is in Clipboard Viewer mode the utilities behave differently. In the normal view a utility will first copy any selected item and then work on the copied data: it works directly on the selected data and uses the default clipboard for the data transaction. In the Clipboard Viewer mode each utility works only on the displayed data and will neither copy the selection nor paste over it.
